JAMAICA JERK CHICKEN

🔥 Grilled Jerk Chicken

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Truly Delicious Foods Jerk Seasoning (Mild or Hot)
    (Tip: 1 tbsp per pound)
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil (optional)
  • 3 lbs bone-in, skin-on chicken (Dark Meat Preferable)
  • 1 tsp salt (or to taste)

Instructions

GRILLED

  1. Clean the chicken. In a bowl or Ziploc bag, coat chicken pieces with oil, salt, and Jerk Seasoning.
  2. Refrigerate overnight.
  3. The next day, bring chicken to room temperature. Preheat grill to medium heat (350–375°F).
  4. Place chicken skin-side up. Grill for 35–40 minutes, turning occasionally to avoid burning.

    Serve and enjoy!

OVEN BAKED

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with foil and place a rack on top. Spray with nonstick spray.
  3. Arrange chicken skin-side up and roast 30–35 minutes, until browned and cooked through.
  4. Broil for 1–2 minutes (optional) for crispy skin.

🔎 Tip: Internal temperature of fully cooked chicken should be 165°F minimum.
