🥩 Garlic Butter Steak
Prep + Cook Time: 20 minutes | Servings: 2
Ingredients
- 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks (about 1 inch thick)
- 1–2 tbsp Truly Delicious Foods Garlic Blend
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt & black pepper (to taste)
- 1 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
- Optional garnish: fresh parsley or thyme sprigs
Instructions
- Season the steak:
Pat steaks dry with paper towel. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, and Truly Delicious Foods Garlic Blend. - Sear the steak:
Heat olive oil in a heavy skillet (cast iron preferred) over medium-high heat until hot.
Place steaks in the pan and sear for 3–4 minutes on each side for medium doneness (adjust time to preference). - Add butter:
Reduce heat slightly, add butter to the pan. As it melts, spoon the buttery mixture over the steak repeatedly (basting) for about 1–2 minutes. - Rest:
Remove from pan and let the steak rest 5 minutes before slicing. - Serve:
Drizzle the remaining garlic butter from the pan over the sliced steak. Garnish with parsley or thyme if desired.
🍴Pro Tips
- For extra flavor, add a crushed garlic clove or a splash of Worcestershire sauce to the butter while basting.
- Let steaks reach room temperature before cooking for even searing.
- Great side options: roasted potatoes, sautéed veggies, or garlic rice made with your Original Blend.
