🧄 Garlic Cream of Mushroom Chicken

Prep + Cook Time: 25–30 minutes | Servings: 3–4

Ingredients:

  • 1½ lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 2 tbsp Truly Delicious Foods Garlic Blend
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • ½ cup water or chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp butter or olive oil
  • ½ tsp black pepper (optional)
  • ½ tsp salt (optional)
  • ½–1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms (optional, for extra texture and flavor)
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Season the Chicken
    Rub chicken with Garlic Blend, salt, and pepper. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Brown the Chicken
    Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté Optional Mushrooms
    If adding fresh mushrooms, toss them into the same skillet and sauté for 2–3 minutes until lightly browned.
  4. Make the Sauce
    Add the Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom Soup and water/broth to the pan. Stir until smooth and slightly bubbling.
  5. Combine and Simmer
    Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce. Cover and simmer for 10–12 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and tender.
  6. Finish & Serve
    Sprinkle with parsley before serving. Pair with rice, mashed potatoes, or pasta.

  • Add a splash of heavy cream or coconut milk for a richer, creamier sauce.
  • The extra mushrooms add depth and a “restaurant-style” feel to the dish.
