🍤 Shrimp Scampi

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined, tails on or off)
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Truly Delicious Foods Garlic Blend
  • ½ cup dry white wine (or low-sodium chicken broth)
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup chopped parsley or parsley flakes
  • 8 oz spaghetti, angel hair, or linguine (cooked and drained)

Instructions:

1. Sauté the Garlic Blend

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and olive oil together.
  • Add Truly Delicious Garlic Blend and red pepper flakes (if using). Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

2. Add the Shrimp

  • Season shrimp with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
  • Add shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 1–2 minutes per side until they turn pink.

3. Deglaze with Wine & Finish

  • Pour in the wine (or broth) and lemon juice.
  • Let simmer for 2–3 minutes to reduce slightly.

4. Combine with Pasta

  • Add cooked pasta directly into the skillet. Toss to coat in the sauce.
  • Add chopped parsley and a final swirl of butter if you like it extra rich.

5. Serve

  • Plate immediately with a lemon wedge or sprinkle of parmesan cheese (optional).

  • Don’t overcook the shrimp — as soon as they turn pink and curl, they’re done.
  • Swap wine for broth to keep it family-friendly.
