🦐 Curried Shrimp

Ingredients
- 1½ lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp Truly Delicious Foods Original Blend
- 2 tbsp curry powder
- 1 scotch bonnet pepper (optional, for heat)
- 2 cups (1 can) coconut milk, unsweetened
- ½ cup water
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro or parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season Shrimp:
In a bowl, toss shrimp with salt, pepper, and 1 tbsp of curry powder. Set aside to marinate for 10 minutes. - Sauté and Bloom Curry:
In a skillet over medium heat, add Truly Delicious Foods Original Blend.
Sprinkle in the remaining 1 tbsp curry powder and add ½ cup of water.
Stir for another minute to release the flavor and form a fragrant curry base. - Simmer Sauce:
Pour in the coconut milk and add the scotch bonnet pepper (if using).
Stir and simmer for 5–7 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly. - Add Shrimp:
Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3–4 minutes, turning once, until the shrimp are pink and cooked through. - Garnish and Serve:
Remove from heat and garnish with chopped cilantro or parsley.
Serve with:
Steamed rice or rice seasoned with Truly Delicious Foods Original Blend for a flavorful meal.
