🐟 Brown Stew Fish

Ingredients:

2 whole or fillet snapper (cleaned) or any fish of your choice
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp Truly Delicious Foods Original Blend
1 cup oil
1 Scotch bonnet pepper (optional)
1 tbsp ketchup
2 tbsp browning sauce
1 tsp sugar (optional)
½ cup water

Instructions:

  1. Season fish with salt, pepper, and Original Blend.
  2. Heat oil and fry fish 5–7 minutes per side until golden. Remove and drain.
  3. Pour off excess oil, leaving 2 tbsp. Add Original Blend and Scotch bonnet; sauté 1–2 minutes.
  4. Stir in ketchup, browning sauce, sugar, and water; simmer.
  5. Return fish, cover, and cook 2–5 minutes. Spoon sauce over fish.
  6. Serve with rice and peas or plantains.
